The Amateur Exegete 
Based on the sermon’s first few verses, it seems Jesus’ superiority over these things was won at the cost of his life: “After making purification, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.” Hebrews maintains a fascinatingly difficult Christology.
